As the Maintenance Assembly Foreman, you will serve as a vital link between engineering management and shop-floor maintenance operations. Reporting directly to the Assistant Engineer / Engineer, you will supervise a technical team comprising Technicians, Junior Technicians, and Technical Operators. In this role, you will plan daily maintenance activities, ensure the availability of spare parts, tools, and equipment across work units (Plants), and verify the execution of preventive maintenance schedules. You will also be responsible for rapid troubleshooting and corrective maintenance of production equipment, conducting root cause analyses, and reporting trouble data. Beyond technical responsibilities, you will foster team discipline, conduct daily shift briefings, facilitate technical training (OJT, skill-up, cross-training), and lead continuous improvement (Kaizen) projects while promoting the core values of the Sumitomo Spirit and SWS WAY.

Daily Maintenance Leadership: Lead, supervise, and organize daily maintenance operations, shift assignments, and daily/weekly team briefings.
Resource & Spare Part Planning: Plan manpower and ensure the availability of spare parts, tools, and equipment across assigned work units (Plants) to achieve zero production downtime caused by parts shortages.
Preventive Maintenance Oversight: Distribute, inspect, and approve daily and weekly preventive maintenance check sheets, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, thoroughly, and on time.
Rapid Troubleshooting & Corrective Action: Lead troubleshooting and corrective repairs for assembly production equipment according to G-Maintenance standards, ensuring minimal Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
Facility & Equipment Care: Inspect, maintain, and repair production facilities, machines, tools, and equipment while ensuring prompt corrective action on audit findings.
Workplace Safety & 5S Compliance: Create a safe work environment by enforcing Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, proper PPE usage, hazard identification, daily Shouji, and achieving target BBB-level 5S audit scores with zero accidents.
Team Coaching & Skill Development: Coach, mentor, and develop team members through structured On-the-Job Training (OJT), skill mapping, and cross-training to improve competency and flexibility, maintaining an attendance ratio of ≥ 97% and 100% valid operator licenses.
3 Point Control Enforcement: Control and monitor work compliance, abnormality handling, and Henkaten (change of condition) procedures to ensure zero violations during working hours.
Documentation & Standards Management: Create, review, and maintain maintenance check sheets, preventive schedules, work tools, work procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Continuous Improvement (Kaizen): Drive and encourage team participation in Kaizen initiatives (submitting at least 4 proposals per year with minimum 1 implemented project) and promote the Sumitomo Spirit and SWS WAY values.
Kualifikasi wajib
Education: Minimum Vocational High School (SMK/SMA) with relevant work experience, OR Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline. Fresh graduates with a Bachelor's Degree are welcome to apply.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience as a Technician in a manufacturing environment. Prior experience at SBI or within the automotive manufacturing industry is highly valued.
Technical Knowledge: Strong foundation in Electrical, Electronics, and Mechatronics systems, including sensors, wiring harness machinery, and pneumatics.
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and rapid problem-solving skills for assembly line machinery.
Methodologies & Standards: Thorough understanding of Preventive Maintenance frameworks, 5S workplace organization, Kaizen methodologies, and data recording/reporting practices.
Computer Literacy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) for data tracking, reporting, and maintenance scheduling.
Proven supervisory or team-leading experience overseeing maintenance technicians or operators in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of Japanese manufacturing principles and standards, including G-Maintenance, Daily Shouji, Henkaten Control, and 3 Point Control.
Experience preparing for and responding to technical factory audits (such as Clean Factory Audits, 5S Audits, and Safety Audits) with a strong record of timely countermeasure execution.
Demonstrated track record of leading Kaizen improvement projects that enhanced machine reliability, efficiency, or safety. Experience using Skill Maps to assess, track, and upgrade technician technical competencies.
