As a Maintenance Cutting & Crimping Technical Operator within the Engineering Division, you will play a vital operational support role in maintaining the accuracy and availability of technical spare parts for our high-precision cutting and crimping machinery.
You will oversee daily inventory control flows—including receiving incoming spare parts, issuing components to maintenance technicians, performing regular stock opname (physical audits), and maintaining accurate inventory databases. Working closely with maintenance engineers and administrative personnel, you will coordinate spare part replenishment to prevent stockouts and support preventive maintenance schedules. Additionally, you will prepare structured daily reports, enforce 5S workplace organization in the technical store area, and embody the values of the Sumitomo Spirit and SWS WAY in your daily routine.

Spare Parts Inventory Control: Manage spare parts inventory efficiently to ensure cutting and crimping production machines operate smoothly without downtime caused by parts shortages.
Daily Warehouse Operations: Perform hands-on spare part receiving, inspecting, labeling, issuing, and physical stock checking (stock opname) with high accuracy.
Procurement & Replenishment Coordination: Coordinate spare part ordering, Purchase Request / Purchase Order (PR/PO) tracking, and replenishment flows with the maintenance engineering team and admin.
Preventive Maintenance Support: Maintain high inventory data accuracy and ensure critical spare parts and maintenance tools are readily available to support scheduled preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Safety, 5S & Workplace Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules, proper PPE usage, 5S workplace organization, and company operational standards.
Reporting & Kaizen Initiatives: Prepare accurate daily inventory and activity reports, actively participate in Kaizen continuous improvement initiatives, and promote the Sumitomo Spirit & SWS WAY values (Safety Minded, Professionalism, Teamwork, Challenge).
Kualifikasi wajib
Education: Minimum Vocational High School (SMK/SMA) or equivalent technical diploma.
Knowledge & Expertise: Basic knowledge of manufacturing production processes, spare parts management, and inventory control principles.
Procurement Familiarity: Familiar with warehouse inventory control and spare part ordering workflows (Purchase Request / Purchase Order - PR/PO).
Computer & Language Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel for inventory tracking and Word for reporting) and basic English communication.
Soft Competencies: Good interpersonal communication, teamwork, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Work Attitude: Safety-minded, detail-oriented, highly disciplined, and eager to learn within a dynamic automotive manufacturing environment.
Kualifikasi tambahan
Prior working or internship experience in spare parts storekeeping, technical warehouse administration, or maintenance inventory control within an industrial manufacturing facility.
Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, or consumable spare parts used in automotive wiring harness cutting and crimping machines (e.g., applicator components, blades, sensors).
Experience using ERP systems or digital inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or proprietary warehouse management tools).
Knowledge of Japanese manufacturing concepts, visual inventory management (Kanban/min-max stock levels), 5S audit preparation, and daily Shouji.
