Japanese Interpreter

As a Japanese Interpreter Maintenance, you will play a key role in supporting smooth communication between Japanese expatriates, the maintenance team, and related departments. You will provide accurate Japanese–Indonesian interpretation and translation during daily maintenance activities, meetings, troubleshooting, equipment repairs, and improvement projects. You will ensure that technical information, instructions, specifications, and maintenance-related issues are clearly communicated and properly understood by all parties. Working closely with the Maintenance team and Japanese management, you will support communication regarding equipment conditions, abnormalities, countermeasures, and improvement activities. You will also assist in preparing and translating maintenance-related documents, reports, and presentation materials, while ensuring accuracy and consistency of technical terminology. Additionally, you will support smooth coordination between departments, contribute to audit and improvement activities when required, and uphold the values of the Sumitomo Spirit and SWS WAY in your daily work.
