As a Maintenance Assembly Junior Technician within the Engineering Division, you will play a key hands-on role in maintaining equipment reliability and minimizing production downtime across our manufacturing lines. Reporting directly to the Senior Technician and Foreman, you will monitor and service assembly machines, electrical/electronics systems, and factory facilities.
Your responsibilities combine technical troubleshooting with operational support—including managing spare parts availability, preparing maintenance reports, and ensuring all work complies with company safety and quality standards. You will also participate in coaching and developing maintenance operators through daily briefings and On-the-Job Training (OJT), embedding the values of the Sumitomo Spirit and SWS WAY into everyday shop-floor activities.

Daily Activity Planning: Plan and coordinate daily maintenance activities across the production floor to ensure smooth, uninterrupted manufacturing operations.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform and monitor regular preventive and corrective maintenance on production machines, assembly equipment, tools, and factory facilities according to established schedules.
Troubleshooting & Analysis: Troubleshoot equipment issues, diagnose mechanical/electrical/electronics problems rapidly, and perform machine repairs to minimize downtime.
Spare Parts & Documentation Management: Ensure the continuous availability of spare parts, work tools, and accurate maintenance documentation/check sheets.
Safety, 5S & Quality Compliance: Maintain strict compliance with Occupational Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) rules, PPE usage, 5S workplace organization, and company quality/maintenance standards.
Operator Coaching & OJT: Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance operators through daily shift briefings and structured On-the-Job Training (OJT).
Continuous Improvement (Kaizen): Drive continuous improvement by actively submitting and implementing Kaizen proposals and promoting the SWS WAY culture (Safety Minded, Professionalism, Teamwork, Challenge).
Kualifikasi wajib
Education: Minimum Diploma (D3) in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Work Experience: Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; proven work experience in manufacturing or industrial maintenance is a distinct advantage.
Technical Knowledge: Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of electrical, electronics, and industrial maintenance systems.
Troubleshooting & Repair Skills: Proven ability to troubleshoot, analyze equipment problems, and perform hands-on machine repairs efficiently.
Standards & Methodologies: Familiar with preventive maintenance practices, 5S workplace organization, Kaizen methodologies, and workplace safety protocols.
Computer Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel for data tracking and Word for basic maintenance reporting).
Soft Competencies: Good leadership, interpersonal communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Kualifikasi tambahan
Practical internship or work experience in automotive wiring harness manufacturing or electronics assembly plants.
Familiarity with Japanese manufacturing concepts and operational standards, including G-Maintenance, Daily Shouji, and abnormality reporting.
Hands-on experience working with industrial sensors, pneumatic systems, wiring harness test boards, and assembly fixtures.
Demonstrated track record of participating in Kaizen improvement projects or workplace safety competitions.
Experience providing guidance or technical OJT to shop-floor technical operators.
