Logistic Control Leader

As a Logistic Control Leader, you will play a key role in supervising and controlling daily logistics operations to ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient shipping activities. You will coordinate logistics team members, monitor scanning, packing, container movements, forklift conditions, and packing material availability, while ensuring compliance with established procedures and shipping requirements. Working closely with related departments and forwarders, you will communicate operational conditions, handle abnormalities, support audits and improvement activities, and ensure that logistics operations consistently meet company standards. Additionally, you will prepare structured daily reports, maintain 5S workplace organization in the logistics area, and embody the values of the Sumitomo Spirit and SWS WAY in your daily work.

• Coordinate and supervise daily logistics activities, including work allocation and team coordination.
• Monitor and control scanning, packing, and shipping processes to ensure 100% accuracy and compliance with Shipping List requirements.
• Monitor container arrivals and departures and ensure accurate information is properly communicated to the Supervisor.-
• Control packing material availability, including ropes, clips, plastic film, and Pylon tape, to support daily operations.
• Ensure proper product handling, packing, and container sealing according to established standards.
• Communicate operational conditions, audit requirements, improvement activities, and forwarder-related matters to the relevant parties.
• Identify abnormalities and coordinate corrective actions to maintain logistics quality, safety, and operational efficiency.- -

• Education: Minimum Vocational High School (SMK/SMA) or equivalent.
• Logistics Experience: Previous experience in Shipping or Logistics is highly preferred, with a good understanding of daily logistics and shipping operations.
• Knowledge & Expertise: Familiar with Export and Import procedures, shipping documentation, container management, packing processes, and logistics control activities.
• Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, communication, and team coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with related departments and forwarders.
• Computer & Language Literacy: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, with basic English communication skills.
• Work Attitude: Detail-oriented, accurate, disciplined, responsible, and able to work effectively under pressure while supporting continuous improvement.

• Certification or authorization for operating relevant material handling equipment (MHE), such as Forklift, Hand Pallet/Handlift, or Stacker, is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of workplace safety, 5S, and standard operating procedures in logistics operations.
